چکیده
Foeniculum vulgare (fennel) is a medicinal and aromatic plant species from Apiaceae (Umbelliferae) has been extensively used to treat digestive pulmonary diseases. This relatively sensitive salinity. To investigate the effect of salinity stress at levels 0, 40, 80 mM NaCl in combination with 0 5% v/v vermicompost mixed soil on growth as well physiological biochemical traits two fennel landraces planted Urmia Shiraz areas, factorial experiment was conducted randomized complete block design three replications under greenhouse conditions. The plants were sampled flowering stage eleven weeks after cultivation. As results showed, treatment together could enhance plants, such length dry weight shoots; leaf area roots; photosynthetic pigments, i.e., chlorophylls carotenoids; membrane stability index; relative water content, soluble sugar, protein, proline, total phenol, anthocyanin mineral elements, phosphate, nitrate, zinc, molybdenum, magnesium, iron potassium calcium shoots roots. interaction also decreased aldehydes, flavonoids, activity catalase enzyme shoot starch, sugar root sodium content both In comparison studied landraces, landrace emerged be less affected by stress. saline conditions, caused change parameters improved their growth. improvement conditions more obvious due use vermicompost. Using plus 40 salinity, surface increased about 3 2.5 times, respectively, NaCl, 2.7 1.2 times compared control. According experiments, it seems that can limit harmful effects affecting osmolytes, phenolic compounds, antioxidants, membranes, availability essential minerals.
